This past weekend we went up to Currant Creek camping. It was loads of fun, literally. We shot guns.. alot. Weston wouldn't go anywhere without his 'real' gun. It was a weekend filled of Guns 101 for him.

I didn't dare take the new camera. It is way too pretty and new. I didnt want to chance it getting dirty.. I was in trouble by Cody for not bringing it. I did end up wishing I took his advice and brought it.. It was as beautiful up there as ever.

Cody shows us, its not the size of the gun you shoot, its how manly you hold it while shooting. (I cant stop laughing at this picture, If you know Cody at all, it is hilarious. Yes, my husband is straight.)

Weston and Cody snipering potguts. I felt so bad for West. We put sunscreen on him probably four times and he was getting fried. So I made him wear his hoodie and he was such a good sport about doing so even though Im sure he was dying of heat.

I am constantly amazed at Gage and what a good baby he is. This face is seriously the face he wore the whole time up there. I am so blessed with such good kids. Gage is the sweetest little caboose of our family. I am so incredibly lucky.

We ate such good Steak for Dinner. Nothing is better than cooking over a fire... and eating in the atmosphere of the cool mountains.

Cody Dared question my fire building skills, Yes this fire was built by Me There was no gasoline involved.. and it was HoT. I had to remind him my father was a scout master for YeArS, and I did frequent girls camp.. Thanks Dad for teaching me what I know... So I didn't lose this bet.

As much as I love my glitter toes, I didnt mean to show them off so much this weekend. The first item on my list, and thrown in the car, from now on will be ShOeS! I was hurrying so fast packing my stuff I SOMEHOW forgot them! So I walked around in flip flops all weekend, not something I recommend. I do hate shoes but not in this case! I wanted them badly.

Cody thought he was clever taking video of me shooting the guns.. with the kick they have I'm sure it was pretty funny to watch. You can see for yourself.
