LeHi PaRaDe

Today Weston and I joined our friends, Christina & Brian , their kids, My Mom, Megan and girls, in going to the Lehi Round up Parade. It was actually alot of fun! Or alot more fun than I originally thought it would be. Lys was in it with the Lehi Cheerleaders, which made it all the more worthwhile! They learned some cheers a couple weeks earlier and were able to cheer their hearts out the 3 1/2 mile walk through the parade. It was fun for her, but I missed hangin out with her too! We missed Cody and Gage. He stayed and helped a neighbor paint his Garage all day. What a sweetheart.

RoDeO

Shout out to Grandma Peggy for getting us all tickets to this years Lehi Round-up Rodeo! Thank you! We enjoyed going... although we have learned this year to get babysitters next year. We all went with the exception for my brother Mike. Gage did pretty good for the first half.. the later half he had a hard time I think with all the screaming and the fact he couldn't go to sleep in my arms... So we had to cut it a little short, after the Motocross boys left.

This boy was a little stud. There were four kids doing a little dance competition, and he won. He had the moves!!

Lys and Lex. They brought back 8 snow cones, three drinks and nachos without spilling a thing! I was so impressed and they were so cute with ther team work effort to do it.

Thanks again Mom and Dad!

SpLaSh PaRk!

Yesterday we made a last minute decision to head over to Herrimans new splash park! I called up Christina and Leanna to bring their kids along for the fun! Non the less.. we have decided to make it a weekly event! So if you're interested in coming along, get in touch with us on when we plan to go! The kids had so much fun!

TraMp SLeePouT

Lys and Jaid had a sleepover on the tramp... Besides waking up to sprinklers spraying them, they seemed to enjoy it! I used to love when I was a kid sleeping out on the tramp with Meg, and our friends. Took me back to our days. My, how time flies!
Jaida is so cute, she adores Lys and follows her around, & wanting Lys to follow HeR around as well. She did so well and was so brave to sleep out, let alone sleep over! Thanks for comin Jaid!

ThiS iS ThE PLaCe!

My Sister has recently come into town from Portland. Which of course calls for a LoNg list of fun things to do while she's here! We started our adventures at This is the place state park! It was fun! The kids, I think, enjoyed it alot... Even though we didnt realize you have to be on the pony rides and hay rides BEFORE 430. So we weren't able to go on them (just a side note if you plan to go)! We originally wanted to do an evening excursion, but this prevented that. So our men werent able to join, Although we missed them lots!
We took the train ride around the park and were dropped off at the happening spots in the little deseret town.

Our first stop was deseret news. The kids were able to stamp their own newspaper clipping!

We went to the General store which was cool with the Candy and ToYs! Weston picked up, none other than, a GuN while Lys stayed cool with her new fan...

We went to the Huntsman Hotel and had YuMMy IceCream! It was SO good on such a hot day!

The kids took a brief class on learning the Deseret language..

They did let us visit some of the animals..

Westons favorite part...

Logan giving the CuTe little eyebrow raise he gives! He is his mothers child! ;) (Refer to next photo)

And Gage.. poor SWEET Gage. He wasnt feeling so well... and giving him a little motrin made him feel a LiTTLe better for the time being. Even not feeling good, he is still SO GoOd!

The 'StaKeR' Cabin! Good ol' Joseph Staker built this one. Wished I could tell you he is my Fathers Great Great Grandfather.. but I have no clue where he falls into the Staker scheme of things. I better get on that geneology! As my father would tell me though.. 'If he's a Staker.. we're related".

And...

The Moms that made it all possible. Thanks for the fun day!

SaY wHaT?!

This morning as I was putting laundry in Weston walks in, in only his underwear. And as putting on my shoes, he says:
'Bye Mommy.'
"Where are you going?"
'I have to go to work..'
'???????????'

This is a not so proud moment for a father... and ammo for future bribes.

DaDs DaY

With going Camping over the weekend, I feel Cody was a little left out of getting as spoiled as he should have been on fathers day. He is in fact the FaThEr of the the most important people in my life, besides himself. And that deserves more credit than has been given.
So, I wanted to take a moment and Thank You Cody for being a wonderful Dad, and Step Dad. Thank you for your patience with our kids. Thank you for your willingness to teach them what you yourself know and understand. And in as much, giving them a want, to learn more. It is no wonder why Weston is always asking 'why Daddy?'. Thank you for your willingness to help out with the kids whenever I have needed it. You are such a fun, cool, energetic Dad and I know your darling boys are always going to look up to you and be right by your side, your best friends. Thank you for having such wonderful morals and standards to exemplify to them. Thank you for EvErYtHiNg you do! I LoVe YoU!
