Lys brought home her Report Card from school last week and she's a straight A student! So proud of her doing so well. She's had the determination to do such a good job. She had one absence because she was so sick and ended up worrying about getting behind at all or letting it effect her grade. Good Job Lys!! Keep up the good work! Only 5 3/4 more years to go!! haha ;)

MiSsIn:  Worrying more about what I am going to make for dinner than everything else I am.  A large warm body next to me.... Feeling like i have it somewhat together.

HaTiN: Coming home from work to Plugged toilets by 4 a year old that a disposable  plunger just cant handle (seriously, Im still in awe). Toilets full of poop and water overflowing all over the floor. Kids pulling on Curtain Rods and busting their heads open. Putting poopy wet towels in the washer and having the lid come off the detergent, getting soap  dumped everywhere. All of the previous happening within a half hour.

HaPpY HaLLoWeeN!

We hope everyone had a happy halloween! We started our festivities at Grandma and Grandpa Stakers for yummy soup and treats! We then ventured out and met up with Christine and took the kids to pepperwood to trick or treat.. never been to that neighborhood it was fun. Then on over to Great Grandma smiths where the kids love to be! They are so sweet to us. And had homemade chili and breadsticks.. Mmmmm Thanks so much, to everyone!

My little optimus, Minnie, and Bumblebee.. Loved the outfits. Alyssa looked absolutely darling. Weston has hardly taken off the costume but to wash it and take a bath! He LOOOVES it! :)

The grandkids (of course missing Jaida Jenna and Logan).. I didnt get too great of pictures.. its hard keeping these guys still! Couple more years and we should be good!

Every year I look forward to pumpkin carving.. I don't really know why because its so much work and so messy! But fun non the less. Kat, Greg and Kats sister came over to join us in the fun. I was so thankful for the help and company!

We started Westons with every intention to finish.. We ended up breaking every dang knife we had, which was 4! Sooo he got his W! He helped out al ot with this one and was so proud!

YouNg WoMaN ExCeLLiNg

Alyssa has been going to Young Womens and LoViNg every minute of it. They had their young women in excellence this past tuesday evening and focused on the girls talents. Well Lys came home from school tuesday night and is kinda scurrying on a drawing she could take. She has been doing some Anime drawings which she's getting so good at but ShE didn't feel as if those were appropriate enough. So what does she do?? WHIPS out literally in no time at all this DaRLiNg picture of a little girl praying by the bedside. I was so impressed! Not only by her desire to do something special for this night, but to do it so well and completely on her own. 

She is doing awesome at school with straight A's. Always wanting to complete her homework with no questions asked. She was sick last Monday and reminded ME to please get in touch with her teachers and see what she needs to do that she doesn't get behind at all.  

How blessed am I? Truly.

ThaTs CLaSsiC!

Last night we went to CLaSSiC skating center with Danielle, Kaden, & Christine.   I've always enjoyed roller skating. especially now that my expensive skates I invested in don't hurt me anymore! And I love that D and T love it just as much as I. But that is besides the point. 

I am such a kid with my kids. I love seeing their eyes light up. Like Weston when he gets on that scooter in his new 'COOLEST SHIRT EVER!' (that was a MUST no ifs ands or buts Mom! at Ross), pants, and shoes like he is SoOo super cool.  HaHaHa! I just kept laughing at how cute he was being. And kept wondering what was going on in his head... going around and around pushing the scooter like it took a lot of effort on his part but it still was the most fun EvEr. He just kept on smiling, and even falling down when he saw others fall down. I don't know if it was a courtesy thing or if he just thought thats what ya do!

Lys is such a doll. She is pro rollerblader. I wanted to get her to take her blades off the sweet ramp! Next time Lys ;) 

She was asked "out" while we were there. Yes, thats how cute she is. HaHa! She's already breakin' hearts with a response of "No, Thanks!". Thats so funny to me. And if she said Yes?? Like they would really ever see each other again? Oh wait, I forget there is cell phones, blogs, kids with facebooks... Oh My :/!!  Wow.. to be 12 again.  I just love how practical she is and her maturity level, for 12. She's such an amazing girl.

and.. Don't ask me! I pack too much energy.

ScaReCrOw FeSTiVaL '09

Yesterday was SUCH a gorgeous day!! And its not so often I get Danielle to myself ;), so I called her up and we decided to go take advantage of the gorgeous day at the scarecrow festival going on.. yet again.. at Thanksgiving Point! Okay, Have I mentioned how much I love living so close to this place?!  If not, I do!

However the place was packed! Gage & Weston are hard to keep track of by myself. They both want to do their own thing and amidst a crowd they can be quite the handful. So after about an hour Grandma Peggy came and took Gage to her house (Thanks again for that Mom). Then, we just kinda let the kids do whatever they wanted. I ate yet another BAG of Kettlecorn popcorn.. all to myself. SO good. Fall treats are amazing!! One of my favorite things! :) How is one supposed to stay skinny during this time? Extra hours at the gym? Ahh I don't know. 

I have OFFICIALLY decided that Gage IS the cutest boy.. EVER. Sorry folks. He is.

After the festival we came back and ate then We decided to go Ice Blocking!! Good Idea! The kids had so much fun doing this! Weston was talking about it right before bed how much fun he had. Forget spending money at a festival! Just go ice blocking!!

CoRnBeLLyS '09

All of the fun FaM (Minues Megs family :( missed you guys) decided to go to thanksgiving points Cornbellys, which goes on every fall, with our kids. They have a bunch of fun things going on. Slides, haunted houses, good treats, rides, games, the corn maze.. etc etc. The kids had alot of fun and if it didn't end up getting dark and was so cold we could have stayed all night! 

To any of my family members: I remind myself of Grandma Joyce in this picture. I dont know what it is. The cheeks, the smile?? I don't know.. one of her shots of her in her white dress.  Maybe I just WISH I were as beautiful ;)

Weston HAD to take his cars backpack! Notice how its upside down. I love when kids have to take care of themselves (or want to 'do it myself')... Shoes on the wrong feet, shirts backwards, clothes horribly matched.... Who cares, right?
