InCReDiBLy AwEsOmE!

When I moved into my neighborhood, I had no idea what incredible people consumed it. I have become friends with some of the most amazing girls ever! I have SO much fun with them, I just love them to death! I couldnt be happier with where we have chosen to live for HOWEVER long it may be. JaMiELyN. Awesome. I find myself thinking alot like JamieLyn. We often say or catch ourselves thinking the same thing at the same time. She is absolutely adorable... yet down to earth. She is empathetic, a very understanding person (which allows her to hang out with such crazy girls!). When I met JamieLyn She was so easy to talk to. We clicked so very easy. LeAnNa. Leanna is like chocolate covered pretzels.. OR Sweet and Spicy Chicken might be a better reference. She is SO sweet, with a wild side to her. Absolutely gorgeous. She stays very cool. She's very Amiable. When I met Leanna she had such a pleasant personality. I believe, besides her looks, it is what draws people to her. ChRiStInA. Spunky! Funky! Fun! Beautiful! AnD VeRy SwEeT! Christina is amazing. She has 5 kids and looks like she has none. She is full of life, and energy. She is ALWAYS smiling, which gives her a 'GlOw' about her. She is everyones best friend and goes out of her way to be so. When I first met Christina I loved how personable and cute she was. I love that even with 5 kids she proves the fact you can have the best of both worlds. She has great kids, who are AdoRaBLe. She too was so very easy to talk to and get along with.. I love being around her. KeLsI. One word comes to mind.. STrOnG. Kelsi is amazing. She has a strength I absolutely envy. The strength to withstand temptation with food. She is a gym/health fanatic. She is a doll. A little on the shy side which has made it a little harder to get to know her better, but I plan to. She has a Can Do attitude about her.. with alot of spunk! and last but very not the least, HeAtHeR. I just started crying thinking about Heather. Heather is more beautiful than she will EVER know. Which probably makes her even MORE beautiful. She has so much.. physically, spiritually, and worldy but remaines totally humble. Something I admire so much in people. She never stops complimenting people. She is an absolute giver. She aims to please. Heather was the second person to come over to our home after we moved in and was so warm and welcoming. With the little time she has juggling 4 kids and her own salon she still manages to do so much for others and make others feel so good. Not only is she beautiful outside, but her inner beauty, most definately, blows me away. I cant explain how lucky I feel to have met these girls. They are all so sweet, and so much fun. Im so glad they put up with me and my shortcomings. I have met many more in my ward who are all so great and I dont want to leave them out and I apologize for doing so. I too tend to be a little more shy and reserved at first and these 5 have come out and gone more than the extra mile to get to know me. and I appreciate that. Thanks so much to all of you! XoXo

We made a last minute decision to have a little barbeque and invite some friends over. It was SO nice Monday, We just HAD to. I am kicking myself because I was acting too busy to take pictures of everyone! It felt like a full house but It was good fun! I thought to get out my camera when Bryan brought his red tailed hawk over. That bird is GORGEOUS!! It was so cool to look at her up close. They are such amazing creatures. We had fun to say the least. Thanks for all who made it over!

BaBy sTePs..

Who says we can't get Cody going to church? All in good time, baby steps. Hah! Cody bought a new trials bike to start getting into trials riding again. He was really into riding trials in middle school and continued throughout high school. Competed in nationals and all. Since, has always loved hoppin around on his bike but has done it merely for fun. So since ordering and putting together his bike, its becoming a passion again... ten years, or SO later :)... He's not so happy about me posting these 'beginning' shots. But I told him its going to be great when you look back in a year and see the progress. Mind you he has been practicing for the last week and is sore and TiReD. I even feel its more fun, and amazing, to watch him in person. I will be posting more on the progress.

This one is his old 'modified' 20" wheel trials bike. The class of bike it is, being smaller.

This is the new 'stock' trials bike. 'Stock' is the 26" wheel bikes. Which both bikes have different classifications on riding technique. Which in Mindy terms is "the new style of bike to ride".

I stopped by Rod Works (I know, I know.. whats new) last week and Saw this frame. I originally didnt know what I was going to use it for but thought it was SuPeR awesome.. Ive been eyeing it for a while but finally just bought it. and I must say it is my favorite piece right now in my home. For one, it holds dearly my three beautiful children.. Two its wicked awesome. Its my highlight of my office piece and did I mention.. I do love it so. I have always kept my home shopping to Rod Works and Tai Pan. Ive also heard Interior Elements is awesome but have been content with where I've been going (probably because I dont need another addiction). I made the mistake of stopping in one day (leaving my purse in the car, babe). It is my new favorite! Needless to say I ended up getting my purse, (sorry babe) :S. If anyone would like to finance me in opening up a store similar to that.. Im all for it. And for anyone who hasnt visited.. DO!

We ate GREAT food, Were entertained by an awesome balloon/magician, broke pinatas, and got lost in the nooks and crannys of the subways of the house. I will let the pictures speak for themselves.

I have to give a shout out to my other nephew Hunter who shared the same Birthday weekend (Friday) but probably didnt get as many Birthday Wishes! You are Awesome DuDe! Hope you had a good day too!!

mY CouCh PoTaToeS

As I was doing my cleaning the other night the boys were sitting on the couch, I walked by and they all gave me the same priceless smile. I grabbed my camera but the picture didn't quite come out the way I had seen it originally. I still thought it was funny.. Cody says "Is West doing his cheese grin?".. because they can make the EXACT same ChEeSe smile. Cody is pulling it, but not West so much. I love my boys.

VaNiLLa?!? MeGaRa?!?

I saw that SaRaH had this little quiz on her blog, So I thought Id try it out... I am.. (drum roll please) I dont mind so much what Vanilla has to represent but its so bland and boring. Am I? :S I'm also a woman, I dont know how Simplistic I am. I prefer Chocolate, Chocolate Brownie, Even Vanilla with LOTS of chocolate in it.. but plain Vanilla?? Give me a Rt. Beer. Sarah, I understand your frustration with Cookie Dough.
You Are Megara!

Charming and witty. You are always the first person to come up with a wisecrack. Sure, you have an attitude, but that's why people love you. You keep them on their toes. Sometimes you can be misleading, but always end up doing the right thing for the people you love.

Which Disney Princess Are You? Now Im Megara? Who seems to be the opposite of Vanilla.. I guess thats my split personality coming out. I am a Gemini afterall.. HaHa! Ohhh FuN!

BoWLiNg W/ ThE BoYs!

Friday, I was able to get the weekend started by going Bowling with My cute neighbor girls and their boys! It was a blast! For one, I enjoy the company of these girls SO much! And Two, I loved watching our boys get along so well. Christina's boys Jaxon and Chandler were so great with West and Brayden. They would hurry to help each other out, and Were so cute huddled together watching the ball go down the lane. It was such a Joy to see the effects of Team Work from these young boys! Afterwards we hit up Carls and let them play, that was great it was deserted.. And Great til we had to leave.. We can all guess what happens then. Thank you Christina and JamieLynn for letting me crash your party! ;) JamieLynn, Myself and Christina Jaxon, Chandler, Brayden, and Weston Saturday I was able to hang out with Kat! She was going to come get West to play Mom for the day but instead ended up hanging out with Me AnD the boys! Lys was out of town, Cody was working on his Trials Bike (Pimping it out to sell).. So Thanks Kat! The highlight of our day had to be 'Smart Cookie'. We were way too lazy to make our own and Smart Cookie just has too many to choose from. Kat is one of my best friends, I think because we share the same amount of love for sweets! :) So much fun!

LeTs Go FLy A KiTe!

Today after going to play group and AC for lunch we were coming in the door and West passed by 'My Spiderman.. FLY!" So as I was situating Gage inside, etc. I came back out to find my little Einstein, or Ben Franklin if we want a better comparison here, had gotten it up and over the roof! I was impressed! He has become such a Do-It-Yourselfer. "Let me do it" are is famous words right now. I dont know where he gets it from... (Yes, those are very Sarcastic words! for anyone who knows us, knows exactly where he gets it from) So we took it out again and flew the kite for a bit. I cant remember where I put my camera so I grabbed Codys and its a little broken, so the pictures didnt turn out as well as I hoped.

MoaB!

Last thursday we left for a 4-wheelers dream vacation to MoAb! Every year the Smith family (Codys step mom Cathys Clan)goes on a 4-wheeling trip there and this year we FINALLY were able to go with! It was alot of fun! The kids had a BLaST.. Even Gage did SOO well. I was so worried because he wasn't feeling good and Thursday night ended up terrible with him coughing and throwing up all night, but our little trooper did fantastic. He hung in there, slept while 4-wheeling and would wake up when the engines stopped so happy and content. Props to my sweet little Gager boy. Alyssa did so good on the little four wheeler, she was taking it around some knarly stuff! Thanks to Tanner for following her and getting her out of some hairy situations. :) I wished I had my camera there seeing her go through some of it. Good drivin Lou! She was driven out come saturday she stayed and hung out swimming with some of her favorite girl cousins.. Wish I would have gotten pictures of them! ThaNk YoU so SO much Rick and Cathy for taking us with and for ALL you do! ThAnK YoU for helping out with the kids so much that we could make it possible! Thank you Christine, Tanner, Conner, Chelsea, Sam and Tyler and everyone else who helped out with them as well! We love you guys! The Boys saw this Boulder just BeGGiNg to be thrown off the side of the mountain. So in attempt to change the world and the way the 'CriCk' Flows they pushed part of it off. To see the Video click HERE.. it was entertaining! I had a hard time picking out favorite pictures so there's a variety. The scenery was BeAuTiFuL of course. These rides were day long adventures! fridays was probably a 20 mile Ride, and Saturdays maybe 10 or 15.. although it took just as long with all the Jeeps, Bikes and other 4 wheelers we saw along the way.
