LeT FrEeDoM RiNg!!

What a 4th of JuLy!

First, I want to say how truly blessed I feel living in this beautiful Country. And to those who serve, have served, loved and have lost in the military to keep us a little bit safer, my heart truly goes out to. And if any of you read this or have loved ones serving for us, I sincerely thank you and them for what you do every day.

We started our fun fourth day of activities at 5:45 in the a.m.! I woke the boys up went over to my moms and headed down to Provo with Meg, and Rachelle to do the freedom 5k run. While the boys went with my parents and their cousins to see the balloon launch. They, and We had so much fun! (I need pictures.. wink wink)

I ran the 5k in 27.. Meg in 30 and Rachelle in 32 (I believe. correct me if I have forgotten) That was a good time. I haven't ran in over a month though, so I am SoRe today.  I need to get back into the swing of it.

Afterwards, we went off to the parade.... I always forget just how 

long that parade is...  in a good way of course. And seriously how many people attend. Its insane! If you don't reserve a spot in advance, you are out of luck! It was great having it sprinkle on us for a little bit but it definitely heated up fast.

Then.. over to Uncle Scott's for the annual luncheon... good food, good fam and children tearin up the joint. Couldn't ask for more or a better time. :) 

After some relaxing, we bought a few fireworks to do our own little fireworks display until Thanksgiving Point put theirs on. It was so nice, and very convenient,  just being able to sit right outside our door to watch them!  The boys were put in the bath when we got home so we were lighting it all up in PJ's! :)
