My FoUr EyEd BABE

Lys has ended up having to get glasses after all. I definately thought I would luck out with my kids getting perfect eyesight. The only one in MY family with glasses is my Dad. And I believe the only one in her dads, is his Dad... so both grandpas. Thought this ran on the moms side of things? I was given notice by the school that she had trouble with the school eye exam and she mentioned she couldnt see the board from the back of the classroom. I ToTaLLy thought that because a couple of her friends had glasses that she may just be WaNTiNg them... I tried getting away with that when I was younger so it was my own experience that made me believe this. I just wanted to LoOk SmaRt, and sophisticated. Well, Lys HaS pulled that off well!! She looks so cute. The Dr. was soo great with her, so friendly and nice, making her experience better. It was so funny bringing her home. She was reading off signs at a distance like it was the most amazing thing ever. Crazy!

Alyssa is gorgeous, as always, with our without glasses! She looks stylin'! :)

And I am laughing because I remember my friend in 2nd crade getting glasses and then saying to her mom on the way home "Wow! There are LEAVES on those trees over there!" She was so amazed by all the new things she could see! :)

Super Chic! She is such a stunner, looks just like her Momma. Now she and Michela can talk about the beauty of being able to actually see things!
