AmaTeuR HouR

Tonight, on a whim, I decided to take the kids up the canyon and get their pictures taken with the BeAuTiFuL fall colors. I've been wanting all of us to go for the last couple weeks but either weather has not permited us to or days its possible Cody hasn't been able to get off work early enough. I struggled all night. I should have known with the day I had, I shouldn't have gone up the canyon to do such a project. We went last night with some FaM and in going I knew If I didn't go SOON I wouldn't get any good colors from the leaves. This was the BEST shot I took of all of them together.. not ToO bad but now is the time I need to sit down and figure out how to head swap on photoshop... GOOD! After the group shot,  I was taking Gage's pictures (above) which were going quite well, don't ya think??... I hear a thud behind me, turn around and West was running down the hill and faceplanted it... PooR KiD! UHHH.. So far, So good Right?!? :S I need angelic music playing for me as we look at Alyssa's pictures. She is such a doll! I could take her picture all day long. She's soo photogenic, and doesnt even move OR complain.

As I was taking these gorgeous shots, I was feeling good about what I had of Alyssa, I  look behind me ready to take more of the boys.. even if West has a big bruiser on his forehead... and Gage is having his own fun in a puddle a few yards away.

I tried getting him to look up at me and give me any bit of a smile, Its the least I expect if he's wanting to do his own thing... I get ThIs face (below). He was mad at ME for disturbing him!! Oh hahaha!  I'll knock next time G.

So I was ready to call it quits.. but figured I'd grab a couple more shots of West and Lys (after having to strip G down put him in the car with it running full HeAt. Pretty sure he'll be sick tomorrow. :( )

I have too many faves so I just put a lot of the FaVeS up!  Love them, even If they aren't perfect.  Just a good one of West and his bruiser on his forehead. :( 

Lys grabbed a couple shots of me... Sweet thing. She now is wondering what she'd like to be more.. an artist or a photographer. Why notBoTH Lou??! .
