HaPpY 4Th Of JuLy!

What a long FuN day! We started our day bright and early at the balloon launch down in Provo at the freedom festival. Seeing all the balloons are so cool. I would really enjoy a ride in one, SoMeDaY. My Parents, Meg and Russ and their kids joined us, that early.

Then afterwards we walked over to the parade where every year it is tradition with my family to go. We havent made it every year but this year we were able to. Its insane to me how many people come! You have to be sure to reserve your spots in advance!

Here was one of my favorite things. This truck was pretty sweet. After the Parade we head over to my uncle Scotts for GoOd food, conversation and relaxation. He's so great to accomodate us all. I know he doesnt look at my blog but I will say, Thanks Scott!

After we left Scotts we went over to my brother Mikes to watch him fly his remote airplane. What a sad time that was I must say. His back yard is so awesome, its on a hill so overlooks orem and provo, so he was taking it off from the back yard. It lost a part, went behind some trees and out of control.. and crashed. OuCH! We looked everywhere we thought it may be but no luck. :s Dangit. Im sorry Mike. You were doing so awesome.

We came home relaxed for a little bit invited Jon over, made some dinner.. and played around. We were out on the tramp and he was bouncing me like I remember Meg doing when we were little. He got me going pretty high!

He brought over his SiCk bike and took us all for rides (Ladies, He IS in fact single). He was doing wheelies for us down the street. Iw as trying to take pictures but I couldnt get my camera on the right setting, and the neighbor came out to tell us that his kids were sleeping (at 9pm on the 4th of July) and to stop. Next time Jonny!I am trying to convince Cody that we NEED one. It will save on fuel!! Oh, wait.. how often do we drive around without our kids? Okay Yah.. for FuN!

Forget Joe Jonas who doesnt even have a drivers license yet.. Lys has a NEW crush! HaHaHa ;) Jk Lys

Weston lookin studly. He LoVeD going for rides with Jon!

We watched the Thanksgiving point fireworks, although we didnt make it all the way through them with Lys falling asleep and Weston so ornery, we took off early. Another one come and GoNe!

Looks like you had a lot of fun! I'm sure it made for a long day, but still fun! I wish we still went to the parade! It used to be a tradition with my family too, but since we've all gotten older, we haven't gone for years!

We also love the balloon festival and look forward to it each year. Mike's dad has hosted the balloon festival for like 15-20 years now and so we get to spend a lot of time with the balloon pilots at dinners and various picnics and things. I was lucky enough to get to ride in one of the balloons two years ago. They often need riders so maybe I can put in a good word for you next year. :)
